Hi, I’m Karl—an Atlanta-based photographer specializing in corporate, commercial, sports, and event photography.

MOORESHOTS began with my dad. Growing up, I watched him photograph trains, depots, and railroad history with incredible passion and attention to detail. After retiring, he turned that passion into a successful business, selling his images worldwide and seeing his work published on the covers and pages of railroad magazines and books. Watching him do what he loved—and succeed—left a lasting impression on me.

Years later, as my own kids started playing sports, I picked up a camera to capture those fleeting moments and document their lives. Photography became more than a hobby—it was a way to preserve memories and spend meaningful time with my dad, learning from his experience and love for the craft.

Today, I’m living my dream as a professional photographer and visual storyteller, traveling across the country and beyond. With over a decade of experience as a photojournalist, I’ve learned how to tell powerful stories through images, capture authentic moments, and focus on the details that matter. I truly enjoy collaborating with clients—taking their ideas and elevating them through my creative vision.  I’m grateful to work with an incredible range of clients, including top professional sports teams, universities, law firms, tech companies, advertising agencies, and magazines throughout the Atlanta area and beyond.

Photography is my medium for translating how I see the world into images that inform, inspire, and connect. And now—just like my dad—my work has appeared on the covers and pages of books and magazines, as well as on billboards, in stadiums, commercial properties, and numerous media outlets.
